I aspire to be the best person I can in school, swimming, and in character. I set high standards for myself knowing that it won"t be easy to achieve, but also knowing that my determination to succeed will let me achieve that goal. I believe that challenging yourself make you better. I will be entering my junior year of high school with 3 honors coursed classes and 1 AP coursed class. I also like to lead by example. I find many people who talk about good character but rarely present it in public. I talk about good character in the classroom, and I represent that character outside of class well. I think that I present this character inside of the pool for my recreational team and high school team. As a freshman I was put onto my high school varsity swim team. Although I was not old enough to represent as team captain, I was a role model to the team. I would lead the boys relay team, motivate the team when the odds were not great, correct their strokes, and motivate them to join a recreational swim team. Also as a Sophmore last year I was finished 5th overall in the 100 yard freestyle final at the 2014 Georgia High School State. I am a good candidate for college swimming because, I have a strong drive to succeed in my sport and in life.
