Steven Perritt '14 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to become a business entrepreneur in the corporate automotive industry.  Since I was a small boy I have loved cars; from playing with matchbox cars to now researching on-line about various cars, and I enjoy reading automotive magazines. My interest does not end with car design, but motor function, horsepower, and how fast a car can go from 0 - 60mph.  Having raced junior dragsters for five years, I traded in my bracket racing on the track to lane racing in the pool, both require the goal to improve individual times. My goal for this next year is to continue performing well academically, challenge myself by working towards improving my swim times, and hopefully receive a scholarship. Swimming in college is a dream for the near future and will be a springboard to my success by helping me to obtain a degree and to help me reach my ultimate dream career. Right now, I see my senior year quickly approaching and it is going to be great as I meet, head-on, my personal challenges academically and physically to prepare for my future!
