I'm currently a junior in high school, and I very interested and motivated to swim in college. I am motivated to further my studies in college to help build a career for my future. I believe that I will be able to do so by attaining a scholarship and swimming in college. I believe that I would be a great candidate and teammate on any team because I am able to make lots of progress in little time. I started swimming for my club team when I was about 7 years old. I swam on that team for a couple of years and then got back into swim when I got into high school when I realized that it is the sport that most suits me. Since then, my times have developed and decreased in almost every event, even to break two school records in relays with my teammates. I personally believe that academics come first when I am a student-athlete but I shouldn't neglect my development and work in the pool. I have been able to maintain a 4.0+ GPA throughout high school with no intentions to have it drop any lower. Swimming has made my high school experience great and unforgettable. I built so many relationships with my teammates and found swimming to be something that I hope to carry out through college.
