Tristan Wolfe '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristan Wolfe and I am a 170 pound, 5 foot 11 inch senior attending Danville High School in Danville Illinois. I enjoy attending church youth group functions, working at the pool, teaching swim lessons, wake boarding, and spending time with my two younger siblings. I am looking for a school that has my area of study, Business and/or Athletic Training that also has a successful swim program. The past season, I dropped significant amounts of time in my main events. The 100 freestyle was my best event at the IHSA Sectional, which I won with a time of 49.95 advancing to the IHSA State Swim meet. At the State meet I placed 37th dropping my time 0.22 seconds. I am a team player coming from a program that does not have very much depth. I lift weights year around while swimming when I can in the off season. I am a three sport High School athlete that is very dedicated and driven to become successful. The past two summers, I have attended the Purdue Swim Camp which has helped me gain more knowledge and strengthen my technique. Two years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti on a missions trip and stayed at an orphanage. In Haiti I participated in playing with the kids at the orphanage, medical camps, food distribution, and a church and water well dedication. While being a very competitive athlete, I have become humbled by my experience in Haiti knowing I am very blessed with all I have and accomplished here at home.
