I tend to be a balanced individual and I maintain my interests for the long run. When my father passed away unexpectedly almost 4 years ago, I chose to stay focused on swimming, academics, piano, and guitar to keep my mind and my spirit flowing with a strong, positive attitude. I constantly look forward to making the most of my circumstances and the good things that life is offering to me at the moment. I’ve been a high honor roll student for as long as I can remember and a scholar-athlete for all 7 semesters I’ve been in high school so far. I like to support my team members, friends and classmates and look at their positive traits. I have the ability to get along well with people of different personalities and diverse backgrounds. I love working hard and reaping the rewards that follow. I believe that my best years as a student-athlete are yet to come, as I continue to mature physically, mentally and emotionally. I would welcome the opportunity to continue growing as a swimmer and as a whole person in my college years. My goal is to get Junior National cuts in breaststroke events and a Senior State IM cut before the end of my senior year in high school.
