Personal Statement

 I am a senior in high school, and will be graduating with the class of 2025.  I have loved competitive swimming since I was 4 years old, and I am looking to continue throughout college. 

I am looking for a college where I can be a contributing member of the swim team while studying Industrial/manufacturing engineering, which is my other passion.

Throughout high school I have also played varsity soccer. Moving forward, I have decided to fully dedicate myself to swimming and seeing my times continue to improve.  I am good at many events, and have been focusing on the 200 IM and 100 backstroke.  I have swum on my high school’s varsity team all 3 years so far, and have broken 4 school records. I highly value the team atmosphere and sportsmanship that are at the core of our team culture, and am looking forward to being a part of a collegiate team that has the same values.
