JONATHAN WANG '24 Recruiting Profile

          My name is Jonathan Wang and I will be a sophomore student 21-22 academic year at Naperville North High school in Illinois.

          I was awarded as a 2021 ALL-STATE Athlete, and qualified for state and made All-American for the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay as a freshman swimmer.

          On Mar 13, 2021, at the Dupage Valley Conference Championship meet, my NNHS Huskie teammates and I won first place for the 200 Medley Relay. We broke the pool record as well. I split a 26.78 for the breast leg. Later, we won second place for the 200 Free Relay. I split a 21.11 for the third leg. I swam two individual events, 50 Free with a time of 21.98 and 100 Breast with a time of 1:00.21.  Both Relays made ALL-STATE and ALL AMERICA. 

          For most recent meets, I swam four events (50 Free, 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 100 Back) at Speedo Sectionals 2021 at Pleasant Prairie RecPlex, WI. from July 8 to July 11, 2021.  Also I made best personal times of six events at 2021 LC IL Senior Swimming Championship from Jul 29 -Aug 1. 2021.

          Academically, I am an honor roll student at the top of my class. My GPA is 4.5 concluded for my freshman year. I was awarded Academic Excellence during 2020-2021 school Year.

          I am very interested in continuing my love of swimming by joining a competitive college swimming program. By following my academic goals and swim passion at a highly competitive level, I would love the opportunity to show you my desire to excel at both.
