My name is Jeremy Suarez and I have been swimming ever since I was seven years old. When I first started to swim, I treated it as a pastime hobby to stay in shape. However, once I joined a competitive club team like Academy Bullets Swim Club and Mavericks Swim Club, my attitude and work ethic changed for the better. I strived for improvements in both academics and in the water, and have learned the importance of having a resilient and persistent mindset.
Ultimately, I want to be the best version of myself. I am a team player, as I persevere through hard work in the pool and in the classroom. I believe that my successes in the pool are paramount for the teams sake. What makes me different from other recruits is my ability to stay consistent throughout the swim season and in school. I maintain a 5.0+ weighted GPA in school, and am consistent in swimming fast while not tapered. My goal is to contribute to a swim program in ways that would ultimately boost and help the teams standing and morale. I believe I am a good fit for that role, as I perceive myself as a very team-oriented and optimistic individual.
I would love the opportunity to swim for a school that pushes me in the pool and academics and for it to eventually help me in the long run.
