Swimming has helped me develop physically and mentally. It has been a part of my life for nearly nine years and thinking of not swimming in the future seems foreign. It has given me a strong work ethic, knowing I cannot improve without putting the time and effort into it. I know that either academically or athletically, you have to commit to reach a high level. I know I have to be open to help and able to listen, while trying to reach my potential.
