Hello, my name is JD Brown. I have been in the water since I was six years old. This is my second year on the varsity swim team at North Hopkins High School. I am the CO-Team captain this year as an 8th grader. I currently swim in the 200 SCY freestyle, the Medley relay, the 200 free relay, and the 100 SCY freestyle. I love swimming and look forward to swimming in college. I am young but at this time I am interested in pursuing a career in physics. I maintain good grades and currently work out eight to nine times a week. At the 2023 KHSAA region 1 finals, I finished second overall in the 200 SCY freestyle and set a new PR of 2:03.45 which is six seconds drop from my entry time. I was also awarded the Region 1 Sportsmanship Award. This season I am going to the KHSAA state swim meet championships in three events, 200 freestyle, 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
