Nathan Dragon '21 Recruiting Profile

Swimming has been a central part of my life for the past ten years, especially the past four years on my club team the Vikings and High school varsity swimming. On my club team I have been able to achieve YMCA Nationals cut times as well as recently qualifying for Futures Championships. Swimming with the Belchertown High School Swim team has been just as rewarding as I am a record holder in multiple individual events and I am the third state champion in the history of our school. While I have had great success inside the pool, I attribute a good portion of this fortune in the sport to what I have done outside of the pool. Whether it be coaching younger members of my team or helping out teammates on my high school team I feel great satisfaction knowing I've helped others to their goals in the sport of swimming. In addition to coaching others, I enjoy the team atmosphere that comes along with the sport. Going into college I hope to find a team that both strives to have an uplifting and positive attitude along with a great coaching staff that also fosters this atmosphere to create success on the team.
