Andrew Frey '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1", 160 pound swimmer from Holliston, MA and will graduate in the 2019 class. My strongest events are short distance freestyle and breaststroke – competing individually as well as part of relay teams. I joined a USA Swimming club program in the Spring of 2016 and compete in both the short and long course seasons. I also compete on my high school team where I swam in the MA State D1 Central/South championships in each of my first three years. My goal going into this past season was to qualify for state championships in individual events as well as relays, and I was able to qualify in four individual events.  

I currently have a 3.73 GPA (out of 4.3) with many AP and Honors level courses. I would like to attend a school with both strong academic and athletic programs. My preference is for a mid-size or small school (under 10k undergraduate enrollment) and I am very interested in schools outside of Massachusetts. What is most important to me is the right fit – athletically, academically, and in a strong campus community.
