    Over the past year I have made tremendous progress in the pool and seek to continue this trend over the next four years. I would like to not only continue to improve in my primary events but branch out and improve in all events. I aspire to attend a college or university that will allow me to not only improve my abilities as a swimmer, but provide a challenging academic environment. Furthering my education is as much of a priority to me as improving myself in the pool. 

    I am a strong candidate to be a contributing member of a collegiate swim team for many reasons. I love the team aspect of the sport, particularly the relays, and enjoy cheering for my teammates at every opportunity, whether it’s in practice or at a meet. Creating a strong bond with my teammates is of utmost importance to me, and I want to foster a supportive but also competitive environment on a collegiate team. Through my own work ethic and focus on team building I will push myself and my teammates to perform to the best of our abilities to represent our school.
