Aaron Gustafson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" swimmer from Franklin, MA  and will graduate with the 2012 class. I am in my 4th year of high school and have 4 years of club team experience (3 years of LCM). I have been on the varsity swim team for King Philip Regonal high school for all 4 years. Last year, we took first place in the MA State Sectional and State Championship meets and I played a significant role. I also swim on a club team, the Bluefish (ABF-NE). The Bluefish Swim Club is a nationally recognized team and has been awarded the Gold Medal Club and is a certified Level 4 Program as part of USA Swimming.  I have qualifying time standards for  Nationals and Junior Nationals 2012

I am looking for a medium to large college with Majors in the Chemistry and Biology fields. Although I currently live in New England, I have lived all over the country and have familiy in Arizona and Minnesota. I am very independent, willing to travel, and open to any possiblities. I especially like the southwest and west coast as I have spend a lot of time in Arizona and Southern California and my mother is a UCLA Ph.D. graduate. As I have been swimming for a relatively short time, I'm looking for a team with a program where I can improve my swimming talents along with teamates with sucess at the national or olympic level.
