Ty Dykhouse '22 Recruiting Profile

Sense  a very young age I have been heavily invested into swim. I started competitively racing at the age of 6 and sense have fallen in love with the sport. I am a multi-sport athletic and participate in football in the fall. Throughout the football season I still try to get in the pool.

My first year of high school swim this past year my teammates gave me the name “Ty hard” for giving my full effort in and out of the pool and always trying to be just that much better then my competition. I always try to live by that motto. 

Being a multi-sport athlete I was able to grow many character traits including leaderships. Leadership is a strong suite  of mine. I was named team captain on my football team. I also learned to keep pushing  threw that pain barrier and strive for greatness throughout my years of football.

I never would of thought God would of bless with such gift and blessing as swim. It is crazy that I could now race on a collage level and I am blessed beyond measures.
