Personal Statement

I'm not going to lie, I have big dreams. My goals are to swim in college, to compete and win at the NCAA championships, and to ultimately qualify for the US Olympic Team. I know that it will take more than just hard work in the pool to make those dreams a reality. I will have to eat well, get plenty of sleep, work hard in the classroom and contribute to my community.
What makes me different from other athletes is my work ethic and determination, I hate to lose. Many athletes have an advantage of size and strength, I do not. I am rather small compared to most of the swimmers that I race, but because of my will power I am able to win regardless of their size or strength.
I succeed because of my extreme drive and will to do well. I know that with my spirit I will be able to handle any setbacks I encounter and achieve my goals. If I have the privilege of swimming for your team, I will bring my work ethic and determination to practice every day and do whatever it takes to contribute and help the team win.

Yes. Taking AP Calculus and AP European History in 2017-18 academic year. Took ' Physics 1 (algebra based physics) and earned an 'A' in the class. Took the AP exam on May 23 and expect to receive my score in July.
