Jazlynn Viening '21 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coach,

My name is Jazlynn Viening, and I enjoy playing the game of softball. I would best describe myself as an encourager. I feel it is a gift God has given me to encourage others while we play in the game.  I absolutely LOVE pitching, I have been working hard and have set a few goals for myself. One of those goals was to make the varsity team this year as a sophomore. I am very excited to say that I accomplished that goal. In my first varsity game, I was able to pitch 3 scoreless innings in a 15 to 0 win.  As a pitcher, I currently have 4 pitches that I throw.  My best pitch is the drop! I have enjoyed seeing a few of the batters miss this pitch while at bat. I also throw a rise along with my fastball and the change. I look forward to talking with you more and hope to hear from you.
