I have a great love for the sport of swimming and it has always been one of my goals to compete at the collegiate level. Swimming has been a way I have challenged myself throughout the years and has allowed me to reach many of the goals I have set. Swimming has taught me many life lessons such as leadership, hard work, dedication and mental toughness in regards to successes, as well as failures in the pool. Through college swimming, I want to exemplify the traits above and want a team that can push me both in academics and athletics. I feel strongly that I have the characteristics to be a leader and a role model in and out of the pool. My college swim goals consist of wanting to qualify for the NCAA championship meet and the next Olympic Trials.
