What makes me a good candidate for a college team is that I am a hard worker in the pool and in the classroom. I am already going to double practices on the days they're offered, and I try my best to not miss practices. The days I do miss practices I try to find time to go to the gym and workout there if I have time. Besides being very dedicated, I love swimming, and I am around swimming all of the time because I also manage the girls high school swim team and work as a swim instructor teaching younger kids how to swim. I am also doing many things outside of swimming. I am taking all Honors classes with two AP classes with a 3.8 GPA and am on Student Council. I have also volunteered as a religious education instructor at my church working with younger kids. I work hard to stay healthy and am confident I could balance doing well in swimming in college while maintaining good grades while staying focused on my education.
