Luke Audette '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Audette and I am currently a junior at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.  I have been swimming competitively on both my school and club teams since the first grade.  I am also currently a member of Blackline Aquatics Swim Club.  While I am active in Swimming, Cross Country, and Track in high school, swimming has always been my passion. At St. Thomas Academy, we are held to high standards across the board. In school, we are given opportunities to take AP and Honors classes, and on the field, in the pool, etc, we are held to very high standards because of our name and tradition of excellence. I take pride in my academics before anything else, and sports come to a close second place. This year, I am excited and fortunate enough to be a Swim Captain and help lead the brotherhood of the team which is unlike any other. This team and community have truly gifted me with a newfound love and respect for the sport. Every day is a grind, but it is what I look forward to.

I am currently looking into college swimming opportunities and looking for schools that would be a good fit for me academically.  I am interested in pursuing a degree in either Architecture or Engineering in college and am considering a career in the military after graduation.
