2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Swimming is my passion. The camaraderie, team spirit and competitiveness motivates me. During high school season, I was the shortest of forty swimmers, yet I was the team's sprint freestyle specialist. I haven’t hit my growth spurt yet, but I’m still improving, dropping over a second in four months in the 50 free (21.69). I love to win. I strive to be a reliable swimmer whom my teammates can count on to score points. I enjoy being a part of a team that has both a great team atmosphere and where the swimmers strive to push each other everyday. I have seen and done a lot, living in very different states and in Europe, where I began my swimming career. I work hard in and out of the water, and I’m looking for a competitive University that is strong academically and can provide me with new and challenging experiences, helping me grow both as a person and teammate.

- Longhorns Swim Camp
- This camp was led by head coaches Eddie Reese and Carol Capitani. Stroke mechanics were heavily focused on through thorough stroke drill sessions and analyzing video footage of professional swimmers’ strokes. We worked on technique in an attempt to move through the water more efficiently and utilized dryland and conditioning practices to increase power in the water.
