Rodger Belanger '21 Recruiting Profile

Upon graduation from high school I will be looking for an academically challenging  collegiate experience that will further my knowledge and interest in engineering.  I have had a lifelong passion for swimming starting when I was eight.  Due to the small town I grew up in I was limited to and eight-week summer season that was tough to advance in.  I wanted more, I wanted to be challenged, and I wanted to better prepare myself for swimming at the college level, so I joined a year-round swimming club in a larger city 50 miles north from my home at the start of my junior year.  I have discovered since joining the Missoula Aquatic Club Swim Team, that I have the self-discipline, drive, and time management skills to make my desires take shape. I love being apart of a team with athletes that share my commitment and dedication to the sport.  I appreciate being pushed by my peers to become a better athlete and person.
