Personal Statement
As a three sport athlete throughout high school, I am very excited for the possibility to take advantage of an opportunity in which I am purely training for swim. For the majority of my swim career, I swam roughly 25000 yards a week up until last year (my sophomore year), where the yardage increased to 32000, however with COVID shutdowns I was unable to perform in a meet for which I was tapered, and so my best times are not where they should be. I am very eager to start a college swim career, looking forward to doubles, increasing the yardage and intensity, and belonging to something bigger than myself.
