My current goals as a swimmer are to reach Junior Nationals this coming winter in 1 breast and 2 breast as well as to final at YMCA Nationals in short and long course. In college, my goals right now are to compete for my team, score points, and prove myself to be valuable from the time I walk on. From other recruits, I have a strong characteristic of leadership within my group on my club team, SVY. Athletically, there is never a day in practice where I don’t push myself to the fullest both in dryland and in the water trying to get better. I set my goals high and push myself harder than I have before every day to try and reach them. Academically, the ideas are all the same. I take classes to challenge myself and also take classes I am interested in to become a smarter person and to expand what I know and become better at things like playing guitar, writing essays and articles, and doing math.
