Andrew Sammons '23 Recruiting Profile

Academic goals:

I hope to pursue a degree in Computer Science/Programming.

I have always been interested in this subject, and would like to increase my knowledge base so after I earn my degree I may pursue a career in this field.

Athletic goals:

First and foremost, I have always been taught to be a good teammate, my coaches always stressed a team first mentality. Having recently been named Captain of my High School Varsity Swim team my coaches have shown that they trust me with this important leadership position.

Individually, I continue to improve my times every year through dedication and hard work. I look forward to working with my college coaches to continue to set and achieve short and long term goals. I feel strongly that any individual success that I may achieve, would be a positive reflection of the team's success as well.

My current goal for my Junior year is to qualify for New York State High School Championships in the 100 breaststroke, and USA Speedo Sectionals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
