My goal is to be successful in and out of the water. I am working on my leadership skills both in swimming and in soccer. I was a captain on my soccer team this past year and have been chosen to be one next year as well. I help the younger kids on my club team with different aspects of swimming. My times have been dropping significantly this season and I anticipate dropping more time. I have qualified for YMCA zones meets since I was 10 years old. I have also gone to districts with my high school team since I was a freshman. I hope to continue my swimming career at the college level.
I have been taking college prep classes since 8th grade. I would like to continue my studies in environmental science, in hopes to work in a position in the National Parks.

- I've been swimming with the North waves for 10 years. For most of those years it's been a winter team (Sept-March). 2014 was the first year that we were able to have a summer team. Before that I swam summers at a local outdoor pool in a rec league.

- I started swimming with this team when I was 6 years old. Fun times in the summer.

- I've been swimming for my club team during winter season for 10 years. I added a summer season with them this past year (2015). I've also participated in an outdoor summer team for 10 years in rec league.

- I started running as something to do with my dad. Races always had kids races and I loved to do those. I've since continued running and have run a half marathon, several quarter marathons, and a lot of 5ks.

- My dad has been doing triathlons for as long as I can remember. I already liked to do 2 of the 3 sports so I added biking and did my first sprint distance triathlon when I was 12. Since then I've done at least 1 a year.
