McCord Riegler '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm McCord Riegler and I am an 11th grader at Gahanna Lincoln High School. I swim for the high school as well as play volleyball. I am a hard-worker and if I or a coach/teacher sets a goal for me I will work towards that goal until it is achieved but I will not over-work myself just to complete that said goal. I would like to play volleyball or swim in college but as of right now I am more interested in swimming in college because I feel that I have a lot of potential in swimming and would like to continue getting better. I am a natural team leader although I can be quiet at first, but I assure you that that will quickly dissipate once I am comfortable with the team and school. Academically I have a solid work ethic and I always strive to do my best. I put academics first and sports second because I have been raised in a way that a good education is the way to be successful in life. If I have a big project to do or an assignment that demands my immediate attention I will let you know what it is and I will try to make it to at least some of the practice that day; I will not skip to do something minor, I will always have a good reason. Overall I look forward to getting to know the coaches of swimming and volleyball and I hope to soon take my athletics to the next level!
