Will Ballard '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Ballard. I am 16 years old and am a sophomore at Kings High School in Kings Mills, Ohio. I swim as a varsity athlete on my school team, and I also swim in the highest group for Countryside YMCA. Outside of the pool I am a Magna Cum Laude honor roll student taking both AP and honors classes. Both athletics and academics are big focuses for me, as I strive to be a well-rounded student-athlete in and out of the pool. In college, I am interested in pursuing a major in history or marketing. I would also like to swim in college, and I believe I would be a good addition to any team as I maintain a very positive attitude during practice. I make it my goal daily to ensure that my teammates are constantly pushing themselves, and having a good time while doing it. I have a great work ethic and am always eager to get feedback from my coaches in order to improve my swimming. Because of this, I am different from other recruits as I am very coachable and provide a lighthearted presence on the pool deck.
