I began swimming four years ago. I had no knowledge or experience with anyone or any swim team prior to October 2019. Since that time, I have learned to love the sport. I have made huge improvements in a short amount of time. Since my first season of swimming I have joined three additional swim teams to improve my abilities. I am the only swimmer for my high school, and love to swim all year round. It was very difficult to try something different from all of my school friends. Through swimming I have met so many great athletes that have become life long friends.
Swimming has become my drive. I want to get better, I want to be the best swimmer that I can. My devotion to the sport has increased tremendously in the last 9 months. I have tried to focus on what will make me a better swimmer. I have adjusted my diet and training to help me succeed. With where I am right now, there is still plenty of room to grow. College swim would be a great motivator for me to attend college. I believe being on a college swim team will help me continue my growth in the sport and have a core group of friends that will motivate me to continue in the sport that I love.
