Andrew Sandberg '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew, I have been swimming for over a decade and absolutely love it. I swim to clear my brain and keep myself healthy. It offers a balance to my life that I can no longer live without. I am currently taking a full college course load as a dual enrolled student and swimming 16 hours a week. I am one of the captains on my high school team. I love having the opportunity to teach new swimmers and show them how to drop time. 

In the class room I maintain a 4.0 while taking the hardest classes I can find. I finished Calc 2 by junior year and plan on taking calc 3 next term, as well as linear algebra and vector calc senior year.  My mind solves problem when I swim.

I put everything I have into everything I do. I always arrive early and leave late. My underlying mindset is work ethic. I know that if I put in the work progress can and will be made.
