Hi! My name is Haven and I have been swimming competitively since 2019. It has become a major part of my life and I can't imagine what I would have done without it. Since I started, I've steadily progressed and I'm so proud of where I've come, and I've been so happy to make so many friends and memories along the way. I believe in the power of hard work and perseverance, something that I strive to apply every time I practice and swim.
I'm heavily invested in academics and love learning; I've maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking the hardest possible course load available to me at my High School, in addition to being involved in student leadership, Model United Nations Club, Chess Club, and National Honors Society. My amuse-bouche has been that I've written, edited, and produced our weekly bathroom based student newspaper, the Toilet Paper, since Sophomore year. I've been really happy to slowly expand the content, from jokes and school events to a featured editorial section of student interests.
During this, I have worked hard to maintain a healthy social life as well as work as a lifeguard each week at my local pool. Swimming though has been my passion and I can say without a doubt that I love it.
