I started swimming at the age of 12. I never had any major goals when I started because I swam only for fun. Once I started liking swimming, I decided to put more effort into becoming a better swimmer. At the age of 16, I am now fully committed to swimming, and my goal is to make it to division 1 of my swimming career. I hope that I am able to impress anyone with my swimming times with only 4 years of swimming. I am also very lucky to have a good and supportive coach to help me along my way. He has seen me improve my swimming technique so much that I was able fly through all the swimming groups to get the highest one. With only 3 years of club swim and only 1 year of year-round, I have made huge progress from my competition who have swam almost their whole lives.
I gave the same work ethic to my academics as well. Throughout my high school career, I have been able to achieve Principles Honor Roll and manage to keep my GPA a 4.0 and above. I am extremely proud of myself that I was able to keep both my academics and swimming right where I want them to be and will continue to do my very best to not let either drop.
As a person, I never have any negative energy when I want to accomplish something. I stand out from others because of my work ethic. I am easy to coach and I will listen to anyone who has important things to discuss with me. I try my very best in everything I do, and most importantly, I never give up. Even if something seems nearly impossible for me, I will do my very best to make it happen.
