2015 Highlights

Personal Statement

I began swimming in November of my freshman year, having no prior experience in the sport at all. In the few short years since then, I broke 6 of my high school records and placed 19th and 21st in the 50 and 100 free in the PIAA State Championships. My success in swimming comes from my mindset of hard work, dedication and discipline. I consider myself a very valuable prospect to collegiate swimming due to my respectable times in addition my inexperience in the sport--most athletes of my caliber have been swimming since they were little and have since approached a plateau. My times are rapidly dropping, and have shown no sign of stopping in the just-over three years since I began. By the end of the season, I hope to also break my school's 100 fly, 200 IM and 200 free relay records in addition to placing top 5 in states.
