I started swim when I was 5 and I have been swimming ever since. At first, swimming was nothing more than something my parents were making me do. The more years I swam and competed, my passion for the sport began to grow and develop into what it is today. I strive to be better with every meet that I go to. I've committed myself to the sport by joining a club, dieting, and working out, with my goal to swim for a division 2 college. I'm also a natural born leader, being able to hype up my teammates before meets, give them tips, and always being someone that my teammates can look up to. I'm also very easy going to criticism listening to what my coaches tell me and improve from there.
I have achieved getting on the honor roll and kept my GPA 3.1 and above. I am very proud of myself of what I have been able to achieve in school thus far and plan to be even better just like in swim.
I would be a great candidate for your team because of my easy going personality, my open mentality that allows for open criticism, and my natural born leadership skills. When things get tough most people give up but not me, I always get straight back up and keep trying to my best ability to make it happen.
