For college, my goal is to receive my degree in an art field and gain experience living away from home. I would love to gain the skill required to work for a major animation studio to pursue my aspirations of being a valued and well known artist/animator. I want to become efficiently independent and create long lasting friendships. I hope to create those friendships through swimming. I hope to continue to improve upon my swimming times as well as perfect the finer skills, and enjoy the competitive nature of collegiate athleticism.
I have been told by coaches throughout my athletic career, that I am very coachable and persistent. I strive to be the best that I can be in all aspects of my life. I'm very competitive, however that does not take away from my good attitude and sportsmanship.
Within my academic and athletics, I am very compliant. I will not complain if asked to do something I was not particularly expecting; for example, If I were told to swim a different race than usual, I would not put up any argument. I feel like I would be an asset to your team, in both individual athletic ability and as a memorable addition to the squad.
