David Iuvara '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal for college centers around a strong and selective  academic program in either the science or math areas of study, coupled with a competitive swim program.  I am open to any region of the country, as long as it is a good fit.  I have a fierce competitive streak, and consider my team a strong brotherhood with the goal to swim the best I can and win, especially with my relay team.  Currently, I am attending a Jesuit preparatory school in the city of Philadelphia where my classmates elected me Class Representative, which I consider that huge leadership responsibility and honor that I take very seriously.  Great leadership is a quality that I value, I am constantly evolving to improve my ability to be a strong leader whether it is in the classroom or in the pool.  As a freshman,  I had to give a speech to over 1000 people in order to introduce myself, my platform and profess my enthusiasm to all the young men of Saint Joseph's Prep.  Since winning the Class Representative election, I am constantly reminded of my role as a leader to my brotherhood, my studies and the sport of Swimming.   Along with my studies, training with my team is my top priority.  I am strong both mentally and physically, and I aspire to be the best I can be.
