Hello, my name is Will Perham. I swim for the Upper Saint Clair High School in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been swimming since the age of 5, and I have loved it the entire time. Over the course of my career, I have been able to perform well under multiple coaches, with consistent improvement in all of my races. My goal for college swimming is to try and act as a leader for many of my fellow athletes. I believe in a strong team bond that helps to pull everyone forward together. I have often been cited by my coaches as the MVP of meets, saying that my races and attitude help to pull the rest of the team together. Additionally, over the course of my high school career, I have been able to consistently drop an average of two seconds per year in the 100 breaststroke. I was often called a "late bloomer" by many of my early coaches, and my full speed and strength are coming into fruition. I believe that if I was given the chance to practice on a collegiate level, I would continue to drop more time.
