I plan to continue my athletic career when I move on to study in college. I strive to become the best athlete that I can and be an asset to the team, while encouraging my teammates to strive to be their best. I have a love for competing and can't imagine myself continuing my studies without training in my favorite sport. I am extremely perseverant, and will be willing to do anything that will end up making me better. I work extremely hard and consistently show up to training to push myself further whether I feel like it or don't. I am easily coachable and will be open to any ideas or criticism that will help make me better. I hold extremely high standards for myself, and I always expect myself to be better than I was before. I hate seeing regression, even though it's sometimes a natural part of the sport. I also characterize myself as a good teammate. I always try to motivate the members of my team whenever they are going through a tough moment and I generally try to put them in a good mood.
Overall, I believe that I am great student. I always like to participate in class and try to make an effort to fully understand that topics that I am learning in school. In the first semester of my junior year I achieved a GPA of 3.94 and I'm studying under the IB program. In my freshman and sophomore years I achieved High Honor Roll.
I am very passionate and driven in the things that I love to do, with swimming being one of them. I hope to be able to extend my athletic career into a collegiate program that will accept me and help me develop to lengths I can't imagine myself going and help me to be the best athlete and person possible. In return, I hope to add to the team's culture and be a useful member in competition.
