For me there was no question when it comes to swimming, simply put; I do it because I love the sport. Swimming since age 7 I have continued to progress and grow, through my ‘career’. Until freshman year of high school it would be a fair statement to categorize me as a slower swimmer, this while true never deterred me from challenging for better positions on my high school and club team. As the year went on I rose up and passed several previously secured upperclassmen’s positions. Because I have never been looked on as the best I believe that has lead me to where I am today fighting every day and striving to beat the next kid proving that I do belong in the top heat.
