William Serth '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi I’m will.  I’ve been swimming competitively for 7 years of my life so far and I love it. Swimming has always been one of my favorite things to do. My whole life I’ve grown up on and around the water so swimming is basically all I do. Of my 7 years of swimming I’ve spent all of it on my ymca team the Newport wahoos. This year my head coach I’ve had for all 7 years moved away and now things have changed. I still have 1 year left before I move onto the collage level swimming. This final year I’m going to be pushing myself of out if my comfort zone and doing my absolute best I can. I’m going to give it everything I got. My team has meant a lot to me. I started out as a young 10 year old at the bottom of the team looking up to the older kids and over the years I’m now one of the older kids being a role model supporting and cheering on my younger teammates. I look forward to swimming in collage doing my absolute best I can.
