Kaylin Shannon '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaylin Christopher Shannon and I am a rising senior.  I have been swimming since I was in the 7th grade.  For a long time I fought the label of swimmer because I wanted to be a basketball player.  I thought of myself as a basketball player that swam.  When I started 9th grade I really began to see myself getting better at swimming and my mom and dad encouraged me to give swim 100% of my attention.  The more I worked at it, the better I got and I believe I have a lot more to give and gain from swimming.  I am a hard worker and very coachable.  I keep a good attitude and think of myself as a good teammate.   I'm not very vocal but I lead with my actions and attitude.  I would like the opportunity to swim in college to see how great I can be.
