2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Swimming has been a vital part of my life for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn't until last summer when I competed at Junior Nationals that I realized I might have the opportunity to swim at the college level. Since then, I've constantly worked on improving myself both as a person and as a swimmer in order to accomplish the goals I set for myself.
I have been a part of both my high school team and club team for 3 years, and during that time I have learned the value of having teammates and friends support me during times of adversity. Additionally, I have learned the values of leadership, commitment, and prestige through my work both in and outside of the pool. I'm looking for a school that will challenge me athletically and academically by providing a competitive environment where I can strive to improve myself further in the water and as a student.
