Johnathan Albaugh '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello recruiters my name is Johnathan Albaugh. I am excited to pursue the collegiate level of swimming. My goals for the collegiate level is to learn and build into a better swimmer to be able to perform at my best to represent my college team. My aspirations within my college career would to make the national team and Olympic team as well. I am a great candidate for your team as I inspire to bring others around me up. During practices and races I make sure to check on my teammates, boosting their energy to do great things in the pool. I am very different athletically as I played water polo for the first time my freshman year in Beaumont, Ca, which the coach later had us going to the swim team to stay in shape. As I briefly got introduced to swim I made varsity with my 50, Free at the cif was a 24.63 and my 100 free was a 52.96 with no tex suit or shaved. Going into my sophomore year I moved to Decatur, TX. I joined the swim team and ended up going to state finals for my 100 free getting a pb of 49.95 and my 50 free a 22.55. Athletically I am very competitive and have put full effort into swimming for a solid year. My junior year I plan to be outstanding in my events also finding new ones like the 100 fly currently at a 54.65.
