2017 Highlights Personal Statement
I am a Junior at Dripping Springs High School in Dripping Springs, Texas.
I am beginning to explore my college options and am very interested in attending and swimming at a college level. I am looking for in a University program with a competitive swim program with a winning tradition. Therefore I want to introduce myself and give you some information about my academic and athletic background.
I'm an A/B Student with a solid GPA, I will be taking the ACTs and SATs for the first time this year. I currently swim club on the Nitro National team in Austin, Texas as primarily a Butterfly and Backstroke focused swimmer (Sprints and Distance). Every year I've made Texas 6A Regional finals in all my events 100 Back, 100 Fly 200 Free, 200IM relay, and 400 Free relay. I current hold my previous high schools school records in the 100 Back (55.1), 100 Fly (55), 400 Free relay (lead leg 49.5) and 200 IM relay (Fly portion).
