Jacob Libby '16 Recruiting Profile

I think I would be a great candidate because I have an outstanding work ethic both in and out of the pool, helping me to maintain straight A's in the classroom and continued success in swimming. I am also very competitive and love the adrenaline rush of racing, so I would bring a lot of enthusiasm to the team. I participated in a leadership program last summer (Amigos de Las Americas) in which I lived with a host family in Paraguay for 7 weeks, helping me develop my leadership skills and ability to work and cooperate with others. Outside of swimming and school, I love to hang out with friends and family, watch sports, and play a variety of other sports like golf as hobbies. In college, I hope to make the most of every opportunity to enrich my academic side and athletic side, and I am willing to try new things and step out of my comfort zone.
