Jacob Richardson '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Richardson, and I am currently attending Monahans High School. For as long as I can remember I have always loved the water. I have been swimming since I was 7 years old. I am very dedicated to becoming the best version of myself and do what I can to succeed in life. I have high expectations for myself, as well as having a passion for anything I participate in. I have a strong work ethic which I learned from my parents (I did a lot of yardwork growing up), and I was always taught that nothing in life comes easy. I would love to have the opportunity to be able to attend a school anywhere in the country and still be able to participate in the sport I fell in love with. I'd say I am busier than the average person at my age. My life is constantly going with no stop. I work out 6 times a week whether it be in the pool or dryland workouts. I'm also very involved in many school activities such as student council, theater arts, the PAL program which is a program where I help lead younger students in the right direction while being a great role model for them, and the National Honors Society. I also love fashion, art and design. Much like swimming, those three factors have always been a major part of my life and I would love to become a model one day. I also love helping out with my community. It all started with helping my local church with a food drive, and ever since I fell in love with it. I'm usually helping with my community one way or another; for example, I'm currently getting ready to walk in West Texas Fashion Week to display local boutiques and raise money for an organization that aids orphans. All in all, I would love to attend a school where I can feel free to do the things I love and leave a positive impact wherever I go.
