I would like to further my skills in the sport of swimming, hopefully, as I continue my path into the Collegiate level. I believe I'm a great candidate for any team because of my hard working personality, especially in the sport of swimming. In my own opinion, there are many characteristics that differ me from other recruits. I could label myself, without a doubt, a leader. As captain of my High School team, I make sure everyone is giving their full effort in every work out and every meet, I talk through and solve any problem or mistake that my team mates have, I try my best to make my mark on all of the lower class men so that they can take these same characteristics and use them in the next few years after I am gone. In my athletic career I have never had a bad practice that I know I couldn't over come, after I got my head right. My coaches have called me hardworking and passionate about the sport I'm involved with. On the academic side of all of this, I would like to say that academics and athletics are equal, but I always make sure that academics comes before athletics. I focus on my assignments and classes in a set time, so I can make more time to focus on my athletics. With all of this said, I hope I've shined some light on why I would be a great candidate for you team.
