Preston Pope '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Preston Pope, and I have been a competitive club Swimmer for RACE for five years. I started swimming because I love to be in the water and move through it. I started swimming competitively in 5th grade and have continued until now. Competitive swimming is very important and influential in my life. Swimming has helped me stay healthy, active, and overall happy. Swimming is one of my outlets because it allows me to work as hard as possible. Swimming allows me to push myself to reach my goals; work hard towards them and see overall progress. Swimming in college is a dream I have been pursuing since I visited my first college swim camp.  I am categorized as a sprinter and I represent our team on the relay team, Freestyle, and Breaststroke. I also love mid- distance and have done very well in that category. I am also a licensed lifeguard who works for city of Rockwall, Texas.
