I am a swimmer by nature, and I have never once considered stopping swimming; the collegiate level is no exception. The rush of racing a personal best and coming out on top after countless hours of intense physical and technical training is indescribable and irreplaceable. One thing I love about the competitive swimming environment is that it fosters rivalries between athletes and friends that never fail to keep it interesting and drive competitors to greater achievement than would be feasible independently. I would be a good addition to any team because of my team spirit, honed and strengthened by the many memories of my combined seasons of high school, summer, and club swimming. Leaving a meet with your team, knowing in your heart that you all swam well, and hearing the voices hoarse from cheering all around you brings a powerful camaraderie and satisfaction.
