The highlight of my swim career is when I went to zones at 13 and I was only selected for one event. No this is not a good highlight but it is the part that I remember the most, it has and always will be stuck with me. Ever since then I have had a chip on my shoulder you could say. I have definitely gone through more struggles as my swim career went on and I just tried to put my head down and keep going to practice because I knew if I did that the results at meets would speak for themselves. I would say I am a pretty optimistic person because of that, because I know there is always a light to the end of the tunnel. I know I would be a great fit on to any college team because of this. I like to bring people together and push through problems as a team and not have to go through things individually. I realized after all of this that I have the capability to get through or resolve most issues.
